Suresh Kumar Dulal...

...began mountain biking in 1999. At this time he moved to Kathmandu from his village home in the country. He worked at a variety of jobs to pay for his upkeep and to learn the English language.

Suresh is currently the number 1 mountain bike rider in Nepal. he has participated in races not only in Nepal, but also in Japan, Germany and the UK. He entered the Asian Games and the European Trans Alps in 2003 and his main aim is to enter the Olympics in Bejing, 2008.

He has supported his Mountain Bike career by working as a Himalayan Guide, travelling to Tibet, China,India, Mongolia and many areas of Nepal. He has dedication, determination and commitment to his sport - with the correct training, support and sponsorship, he could achieve his dream of entering the Olympics in 2008.

Suresh now has a business interest in Nepal. For the last 4 years he is co-owner of Nepal Mountain Bike (NMB). They arrange trips and tours, they also rent and sell mountain bikes, parts and clothes. For more information on this contact www.bikehimalayas.com

Suresh has recently set up a cargo comp. This was as a result of his efforts in exporting goods from Nepal to Third World TrAid Ltd  to help trade within Nepal.
